Lead Mining Soap

Lead Mining Soap

The Swaledale Lead mines ceased operations in 1912, yet the legacy lives on through the ruins that still dot the Dales. During the 18th to 19th centuries, Britain was the largest producer of lead globally. Our luxurious lead mining soap serves as a reminder of this history, made with organic ingredients with free-form shapes containing activated charcoal to signify the lead extracted from the depths of the Earth in the stunning Swaledale and Wensleydale regions.
